Job description

Overview
Job Purpose
This is an individual-contributor, quota-carrying sales role within ICE's Americas Fixed Income Analytics & Derivatives business. You will be responsible for originating, developing, and closing opportunities across ICE's Fixed Income Analytics (IDA) and Derivatives (IDD) businesses. These solutions support some of the world's largest financial institutions through data, analytics, valuations, risk, and workflow capabilities used across trading, investing, risk management, operations, and product development.
You will work with investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, insurers, corporates, and market infrastructure providers to understand their business objectives, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver solutions that help them make better decisions, manage risk, improve efficiency, and support business growth.
This is a consultative, solution-oriented sales role. Success requires more than relationship management alone. The successful candidate will demonstrate a genuine interest in financial markets, the ability to understand complex client workflows, and the commercial judgment to connect ICE's capabilities to meaningful business outcomes.
You will frequently engage with senior stakeholders across trading, portfolio management, risk, operations, technology, procurement, and executive leadership functions while coordinating internal teams across product, engineering, legal, operations, and commercial organizations.
Responsibilities
  • Own and Grow a Book
    • Carry and deliver against a sales quota across ICE's Fixed Income Analytics and Derivatives businesses.
    • Originate, develop, and close new business opportunities across assigned accounts and territories.
    • Expand existing relationships by identifying new desks, workflows, use cases, and business initiatives where ICE can deliver value.
    • Build and maintain a healthy, qualified pipeline while providing accurate forecasting and commercial visibility.
  • Sell Consultatively Into Complex Organizations
    • Develop a deep understanding of how clients operate, including their workflows, decision-making processes, business priorities, and market challenges.
    • Identify opportunities to improve client outcomes through the application of ICE data, analytics, valuations, and workflow solutions.
    • Engage confidently with stakeholders across front-office, risk, operations, technology, and executive functions.
    • Position solutions against client objectives and business outcomes rather than product features alone.
    • Partner with product specialists and subject matter experts to develop and deliver solutions aligned with client needs.
  • Lead Strategic Client Initiatives
    • Manage opportunities throughout the full sales lifecycle, from initial engagement through contract execution and implementation.
    • Coordinate and influence cross-functional teams across product, engineering, operations, legal, and commercial functions to advance strategic opportunities.
    • Navigate complex buying processes involving multiple business, technical, procurement, and executive stakeholders.
    • Act as the client's advocate within ICE and ICE's representative within client organizations.
  • Build Strategic Relationships
    • Develop trusted relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across assigned accounts.
    • Maintain awareness of market developments, regulatory changes, and evolving client priorities.
    • Represent ICE at client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
    • Contribute client insight and market intelligence to product development and business strategy discussions.

Knowledge and Experience
  • Demonstrated success originating and closing complex, multi-stakeholder sales opportunities within institutional financial markets.
  • Direct experience selling analytics, valuations, or risk solutions into front-office or risk functions - and the technical fluency to discuss structured products, derivatives valuation, or vol mechanics credibly.
  • Strong understanding of fixed income, derivatives, capital markets, or adjacent financial market workflows.
  • Ability to engage credibly with commercial, operational, risk, and technology stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial judgment and the discipline to forecast accurately.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes across cross-functional organizations.
  • Self-directed, intellectually curious, and results-oriented.

Nice to Have
  • Existing relationships across investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, insurers, or other institutional market participants.
  • Experience selling pricing, valuation, analytics, workflow, derivatives, or risk management solutions.
  • Familiarity with fixed income analytics, OTC derivatives, structured products, or market infrastructure workflows.
  • Experience operating within complex enterprise sales environments involving multiple stakeholders and long sales cycles.

What Success Looks Like in 12 Months
  • Built and qualified a sustainable pipeline across both IDD and IDA.
  • Can speak to ICE's IDD/IDA capabilities fluently enough that clients treat you as the technical contact, not just the relationship one.
  • Established trusted relationships with key stakeholders across assigned accounts.
  • Become a go-to commercial partner for clients evaluating analytics, valuations, derivatives, and workflow solutions.
