RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Engineer in Coral Springs, FL.
Summary:
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide valuable insights to our organization. You will work closely with various teams to extract actionable information from data and communicate your findings using Power BI. Proficiency in MySQL is also essential for querying and manipulating data from our databases.
Responsibilities:
* Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources, including databases and external data repositories
* Write and optimize SQL queries to extract relevant data from MySQL databases
* Create data visualizations, reports, and dashboards using Power BI to communicate insights effectively
* Continuously monitor data quality and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
* Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data analysis and visualization
* Coordinating with other team members to reach project milestones and deadlines
* Auditing database regularly to maintain quality
* Creating systems to keep data secure
* Work closely with Business Intelligence to provide data for analysis
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in MySQL and Power BI
* Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation
* Proficiency in data visualization tools, especially Power BI
* Python
* AWS (Amazon Web Services)

* Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
