Job description

Overview:
Stafford Gray is seeking a Salesforce Integration Engineer for a contract engagement supporting the State of Michigan. The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems used across state agencies. This is a hybrid role based in Lansing, MI.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems (APIs, middleware, ETL pipelines)
  • Develop and maintain custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Flow, and Lightning components
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration failures, data sync issues, and system conflicts
  • Document integration architecture, data flows, and technical specifications
  • Support testing, UAT, and deployment activities across environments

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience
  • Demonstrated experience building integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems
  • Proficiency with REST/SOAP APIs, Apex, and Salesforce Flow
  • Experience with middleware or integration platforms
  • Active Salesforce certification
  • Ability to work on-site in Lansing, MI on a hybrid schedule
