Job description

Job Title: Warehouse Receiver Location: Salt Lake City, UT Type: Contract To Hire Compensation: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour Contractor Work Model: Onsite Hours: 40.0 Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
  • Verify shipment contents against purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery documentation.
  • Record and update inventory information using warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect items.
  • Label, sort, and store inventory in designated locations following warehouse procedures.
  • Collaborate with procurement, inventory control, and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area.
  • Operate material handling equipment in compliance with safety standards.
  • Assist with periodic cycle counts and full inventory audits.
  • Support shipping, picking, and other warehouse functions as needed.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of warehouse, receiving, or inventory experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management or inventory systems (WMS).
  • Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and purchase orders.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs consistently.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one is a plus.
