Job description

Data Center Project Manager
Contract Length: 12 months with potential extension(s)
Location: Dallas, TX - Local candidates only
Work Schedule: Hybrid - 3 days onsite
The Data Center Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering data center-related projects, including new builds, expansions, migrations, upgrades, and decommissioning efforts. This role coordinates cross-functional teams across facilities, network, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards, and offers a great opportunity to join a fast-paced, highly energetic, motivated, and collaborative team.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of project management experience in data center or infrastructure environments
  • Strong understanding of data center infrastructure including power, cooling, racks, cabling, and networking
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-vendor projects
  • Prior experience with Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) implementations
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills with the ability to work independently
  • Experience using JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project, and Visio
  • Ability to align technical solutions with business requirements
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and multitasking skills
  • Willingness to travel to multiple facilities as needed

Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of data center projects, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Develop and manage project schedules across design, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, and decommissioning phases
  • Create and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and financial reporting
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including facilities, infrastructure, and vendors
  • Ensure safety, compliance, and regulatory standards are maintained throughout project delivery
  • Support capacity planning and long-term data center strategy initiatives
  • Travel to data center locations as required to support project needs
