Position Summary

The Senior Director Creative Services oversees the creative development and execution of game designs, bids, and marketing materials. They are responsible for ensuring quality and adherence to industry best practices, leading the creative team, and collaborating with other departments to achieve company goals.

Job Duties / Key Accountabilities

Innovation and Trends:

  • Monitor Industry Trends: Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in game design and creative services and integrate these into the company's creative strategy.
  • Foster Innovation: Encourage a culture of innovation within the creative team, promoting brainstorming sessions and the development of cutting-edge game designs and marketing strategies.

Strategic Vision:

  • Long-Term Planning: Develop and implement a long-term creative vision that aligns with the company's strategic goals and market demands.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all creative outputs maintain brand consistency and meet the company's standards.
  • Work Flow: Other duties assigned

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Client Interaction: Regularly engage with clients and stakeholders to gather feedback, present new ideas, and ensure their needs are met through creative solutions.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments (e.g., R&D, Sales, Marketing) to ensure cohesive and effective creative strategies.

Performance Metrics:

  • KPIs and Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of creative projects, making adjustments as necessary to meet objectives.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on the performance of creative initiatives to senior management.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Financial Oversight: Oversee the budget for the Creative Services department, ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources efficiently to maximize productivity and project impact.

Team Development:

  • Mentorship: Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members to foster growth and retain top talent.
  • Performance Improvement: Implement performance improvement plans for underperforming team members, ensuring continuous improvement.
Qualifications

Qualifications / Skills / Knowledge

Required

  • Strong background in creative design and game development.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing a creative team.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Applications and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Positive, high-energy, and enthusiastic attitude.

Desired

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in the lottery or gaming industry, with at least 5 years in game design.
  • Broader industry experience in gaming, entertainment, or digital media.
  • Technical proficiency in additional design and development tools relevant to game creation.
