Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc.'s PAC-MAN Social Media Coordinator will support the execution of a variety of social media and influencer campaigns to support PAC-MAN brand initiatives. They will collaborate with internal teams and global social marketing teams to execute a high volume of tasks and coordinate responsibilities with related teams. They will be expected to provide ongoing support to overall brand campaigns for games, community management, content creation, social publishing, copywriting, and influencer outreach.

This will be a 12-month long contract. Join us at our new campus in Irvine, California where a hybrid work schedule will be observed.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support social editorial calendars, with an emphasis on production management/approvals with global teams.
  • Engage and manage community spaces such as the PAC-MAN Discord.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create campaign content and assets.
  • Support content plans and manage daily social publishing across all PAC-MAN social channels.
  • Provide coordination and support for influencer marketing by maintaining updated target lists of brand influencers and communicating with active influencers and external agencies.
  • Manage the development of captions and copy across PAC-MAN social media channels (including text overlay for videos) to maintain the brand's voice.
  • Continuously keep a pulse on social, game, and cultural trends and analytics to support content ideation and optimize PAC-MAN's social presence.
  • Support content capture and editing.
  • Manage talent bookings and scheduling with external agencies for activations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4+ years of progressively responsible experience with hands-on social media coordination
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field or equivalent experience 
  • Highly organized and meticulous attention to detail with an ongoing dedication to achieving high-quality results.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Passion for pop culture and gaming
  • Familiarity with popular video game influencers

WORK ENVIRONMENT

In this position, the work environment will necessitate frequent periods of sitting and engaging in computer-related tasks. There will be occasional requirements to stand and/or walk, with infrequent circumstances requiring lifting, carrying, squatting, kneeling, bending, or climbing more than 50 pounds.

Salary Range:

$28.90 an hour - $33.50 an hour

Actual base salary will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, but not limited to, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
