Who You Are

The Manager, Commercial Contracts & Supply Chain will provide strategic leadership and day-to-day oversight and execution of all contracting and procurement activities supporting LMEvolve's portfolio of startup collaborations, joint ventures, research agreements, and other partnership arrangements. This role ensures that contracts and supply chain activities are structured, negotiated, executed, and managed in a manner that protects LMEvolve's interests, drives value creation, and enables rapid innovation while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

What You'll Do
  • Mature the contracting and supply chain strategy for the LMEvolve portfolio, aligning with overall business goals and risk appetite and leveraging changes in U.S. Government (USG) and Department of War (DoW) alternative acquisition pathways.
  • Perform contracts and supply chain management functions across the spectrum of actions associated with providing supplies and services, from capture through proposal, contract award, and all phases of contract, sub-contract and PO administration for both commercial and non-traditional USG contracts.
  • Serve as an authorized, empowered representative for the Company and each of its subsidiaries and as an interface with Customer-buying representatives, responsible for building effective relationships and managing the agreements that support business goals and objectives.
  • Provide business advice and guidance to and coordinate with other portfolio business functions, including program management, finance, legal, business development, engineering, human resources, accounting, and compliance to effectively manage a breadth of responsibilities, including contract/sub-contract solicitations, opportunity capture support, negotiations, contract terms, including fulfillment of related obligations and international trade compliance.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of supply chain and subcontracts management, from award to closeout, ensuring deliverables, milestones, and payment terms are met
  • Implement subcontractor performance monitoring, issue resolution, and risk mitigation processes driving collaboration for results.
  • Provide regular communications to senior leadership through status reports, KPI dashboards, and risk heat maps, ensuring known risks are managed and unknowns are mitigated as they develop.
  • Coordinate solutions to contractual and supply chain issues and Customer concerns related to Company performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegations of Authority and approval requirements for proposals Subsidiary, and portfolio-level agreements.
  • Lead and support audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract-related activities and verify compliance.
  • Ensure final agreements are consistent with negotiated terms.
  • Act as a thought leader in commercial, non-traditional, and USG contracting methodologies
What You Bring

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in contracts management, supply chain, and/or legal affairs within commercial environments.
  • Experience leading contract negotiations for complex, high value, multiparty agreements
  • Proven ability to lead cross functional teams, influence senior stakeholders, and drive results in fast paced, matrixed and flat organizations.
  • Strong analytical and risk assessment capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to convey complex contracting concepts to nonlegal audiences.
    • Ability to troubleshoot problems and develop creative solutions
    • Ability to work independently, be self-directed, innovative and results-oriented
    • Exhibits a proactive approach to work
    • Works well under time constraints in a dynamic environment.

Desired Skills:
