Job description

The Cloud Engineer will design, engineer, and integrate the cloud environment that forms the foundation of the WDP System. This person will implement and manage cloud services, optimize the cloud architecture for performance and cost, and ensure the environment is secure, scalable, and highly available. This person will architect multi-cloud and hybrid cloud solutions to meet specific requirements, implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate cloud resource provisioning, and establish cloud governance policies and guardrails. This person will design and implement cloud networking solutions including VPCs, subnets, and connectivity to on-premises resources, configure cloud security services and controls to protect cloud resources, and implement cloud monitoring and logging solutions to provide visibility into operations. This person will optimize cloud resource utilization to control costs, implement auto-scaling solutions to handle variable workloads, and design disaster recovery and business continuity solutions for cloud workloads. This person will evaluate new cloud services and features for potential adoption, maintain cloud architecture documentation, and provide cloud expertise to other teams.

  • SECRET Security Clearance Required
  • Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP cerification (for Junior / Journeyman roles)
  • SecurityX / CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP, FITSP-O, or GFACT certification (for Senior role)
  • We are actively seeking multiple levels:
    • Junior: 0 - 3 years of experience + Bachelor's Degree
    • Journeyman: 4 - 7 years of experience + Bachelor's Degree
    • Senior : 8+ years of experience + Bachelor's Degree
  • Good communication skills, self-starter mindset.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
