Description
Raytheon-Rafael Area Protection Systems (R2S), a dynamic and fast-growing joint venture between Raytheon and Rafael, is seeking a results-driven Data Manager to support execution of major defense program and business operations - most notably the Iron Dome All Up Round (AUR) production, and David Sling's Weapons System.
The Data Manager identifies all data deliverables made part of a contract and subsequently builds a data track in a Product Data Management (PDM) system. The DM identifies, with help from the Program Office, the appropriate preparers, receives the data within PDM, reviews the data for compliance, solicits and secures appropriate programmatic approval and delivers the information to the customer on time, throughout the lifecycle of the contract.
In addition, DMs are responsible for reviewing sub-tier contractor requirements, building data tracks for supplier submissions, receiving data from various suppliers, and routing for approval and/or incorporation into prime contractor deliverables to the customer as well as securing non-deliverable program work products to be configuration controlled in the PDM system and other related tasking. Collaboration and coordination with Configuration Management will also be required.
What You Will Do
  • Identifies all data deliverables made part of a contract
  • Builds a data track in a Product Data Management (PDM) system
  • Identifies, with help from the Program Office, the appropriate preparers, receive the data within PDM, and reviews the data for compliance
  • Solicits and secures appropriate programmatic approval, and delivers the information to the customer on time, throughout the lifecycle of the contract.
  • Reviews sub-tier contractor requirements, builds data tracks for supplier submissions, and receives data from various suppliers
  • Approval routing, and/or incorporation, into prime contractor deliverables to the customer
  • Secure non-deliverable program work products to be configuration controlled in the PDM system and other related tasking
  • Supports Configuration Manager as a backup

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Bachelor's degree OR in absence of a degree, 4 years of relevant experience are required.
  • 5 years of professional experience
  • Experience with government standards and processes, such as described in EIA-649, Configuration Management Standard and GEIA-859, Data Management
  • Experience with Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Ability to have flexible working schedule

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Familiarity with the ERP system, IFS
  • Ability to interpret scheduling and milestone requirements
  • Strong business acumen including planning, forecasting, analytical skills and ability to negotiate and influence
  • Can work in a team-based environment consisting of organizational and outside customer contacts to meet project goals.
  • Sense of urgency; ability to meet challenging deadlines, and attention to detail
    Strong skills in interpersonal communications, relationship building, and in collaborating on cross-functional teams comprised of diverse personalities and skill sets
  • Experience with generating Data Management productivity metrics and reports
  • Experience with estimating, proposing and managing Data Management cost and schedule on a program
  • Earned Value Management System (EVMS) certification, with relevant experience
  • Active DOD Clearance
