Responsibilities
Position Summary:
  • Drafting and Reviewing Contracts: Prepare, review, and edit various types of contracts including NDAs, service agreements, purchase agreements, corporate agreements including IT, construction and design agreements, sponsorships, and sales and marketing contracts, to support corporate and resort operations by ensuring accurate language, terms, and conditions.
  • Contract Negotiation: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counterparts to negotiate contract terms that are favorable and minimize risk for the organization.
  • Contract Management: Maintain a comprehensive contract database, track contract milestones and expirations, and manage renewals, amendments, and terminations.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all contracts comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Monitor for changes in regulations that may impact existing or future contracts.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify, assess, and communicate risks associated with contractual terms that may pose legal, financial, or reputational risk. Propose and implement mitigation strategies where necessary and escalate issues for legal review when appropriate.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a point of contact for questions about contract terms, processes, and obligations for both internal teams and external partners.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate and enhance contract-related processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate and present reports on contract status, risk exposure, key performance indicators, and other relevant metrics for management.
  • Support Audits: Assist with internal and external audits involving contractual records and processes.
  • Training and Guidance: Educate team members and stakeholders on contract policies and best practices.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

  • Legal Acumen: Understanding of legal language, contractual clauses, and regulatory requirements.
  • Negotiation Skills: Capable of achieving mutually beneficial outcomes while preserving organizational interests.
  • Organizational Skills: Proficiency in managing multiple contracts, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain contractual concepts to non-legal personnel.
  • Problem-solving: Aptitude for identifying issues and developing practical, actionable solutions.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with contract management software, databases, and standard office applications.
  • Collaboration: Works effectively within cross-functional teams, building consensus and facilitating decision-making.
  • Confidentiality: Demonstrates the utmost integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Bachelor's Degree

In addition, the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience are preferred:
  • 3+ years of experience in contract analysis, contract administration, legal, procurement, or a related discipline.
  • Working knowledge of contract law, commercial terms, and industry-specific regulations.
  • Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools and document management systems.
  • Strong research skills and familiarity with legal databases and resources.
