Job description

The Cathodic Protection Technician performs pipe-to-soil potential testing on natural gas pipeline systems to confirm adequate cathodic protection.

Perform pipe-to-soil potential readings on natural gas pipelines at test stations, services, regulators, and other assigned locations.

Travel daily to assigned test points by driving and walking routes over varied terrain and in various weather conditions

Accurately document test results and complete required forms and reports within required timelines.

Represent the company professionally when interacting with client personnel, customers, and the public, including entering private property as required.

Safety-first mindset; consistently follows procedures and policies.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in testing, documentation, and reporting.

Comfortable using handheld/mobile technology for data entry and field reporting.

Ability to work independently, manage a route, and meet deadlines.

Competitive Compensation:

$20.00 per hour with GUARANTEED automatic $.50 increases at both 60 days and 180 days.

Comprehensive Benefits Package:

Medical/Dental/Vision Plan & 401K, Accrued Paid Time Off (PTO) starting Day 1, Paid Holidays, Mileage Reimbursement unless using Company Provided Vehicle.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

Typical schedule is Monday-Friday; occasional Saturday work may be required based on operational needs and contract requirements. Travel Frequent local travel to job sites is required; field work is performed throughout the assigned territory.

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Valid, unexpired driver's license required.

Ability to read, write, and understand English.
