Tile, Mosaic, Granite and Quartz Installers - San Diego County

Job Description

Are you experienced in Home Remodeling? Do you have experience in cabinet refacing, cabinet building, mosaic installation, tile floor installation? Have you installed countertops made from engineered stone, granite or quartz?

If so, we are seeking Detailed Oriented Lead Installers and Assistant Installers who are committed to providing our Customers with the Kitchen or Bath of their dreams! If you have the skills we are looking for, then welcome to Granite Transformations. We will train the right people to install our light-weight 1/4" engineered granite / quartz overlay as well as our cabinet refacing program.

We are the industry leader for kitchen and bath remodeling which requires NO DEMOLITION. All of our products are engineered to cover the Customer’s existing countertops, back splashes, shower walls and cabinets. We offer high-end, award-winning products to our residential and commercial customers.

Our territory covers San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino, Los Angeles, and Orange Counties

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

As an Installer with Granite Transformations, you will be sent directly into Customer homes to remodel their kitchens and bathrooms.

Lead Installers are required to interact with the Customers and answer all questions as needed. You will complete all required paperwork. The job will require templating, pulling material, cutting, fabrication and installation of material per our written contract. This will include, but not limited to; installing kitchen countertops, sinks (no wet plumbing connection), back splashes, tub surrounds, shower walls and floor, fireplaces and any other surface the Customer wants us to cover. Lead installers provide their own truck and basic hand tools. All large wet saws and safety equipment is provided by the company.

Assistant Installers are required to assist in the templating, pulling material, cutting, fabrication and installation of material per the written contract. The main purpose is to assist the Lead Installer in all aspects of the job. Assistant installers provide their own transposition to the shop and normally (but not always) ride with the Lead Installer to the job site.

Additionally Requirements for ALL Installers:

  • Must be clean cut.

· Must have strong ethics.

· Must be detailed oriented.

· Must have a math aptitude.

· Must attend Installer meetings.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

· Must provide personal cell phone.

· Must provide solutions as required.

· Must be Customer service oriented.

· Must have exceptional organizational skills.

· Must know how to make a good impression.

· Must have legible writing and be very accurate.

· Must have the ability to lift and carry 75 pounds.

· Must provide reliable vehicle, insurance and fuel.

· Must have a clean driving record, free of any major convictions.

· Must maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

· Must be able to accurately measure and draw a basic kitchen and bathroom.

Qualifications:

· Must be able to pass drug test.

· Must read, write and speak English.

· Must be familiar with basic construction tools.

· Lead Installer should have a minimum of 3 years of construction experience.

· Assistant Installer should have a minimum of 6 months of construction experience.
