Job description

We are seeking a Systems Engineer to support the design, integration, testing, and deployment of data center solutions for satellite collection-based systems. This role contributes to systems engineering activities across hardware, software, network, and Radio Frequency (RF) components—including Hardware, Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS), Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS), and LOPERS and/or TURNKEY solutions—supporting mission-critical communication and signal processing environments. The ideal candidate has foundational experience in RF and signal processing systems development and demonstrates the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
 
Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).
Capabilities
  • Support the design, integration, testing, and deployment of data center solutions for satellite collection-based systems.
  • Contribute to systems engineering activities across hardware, software, network, and RF components to ensure operational performance and interoperability.
  • Assist in the development and integration of Radio Frequency (RF) and signal processing systems for communication system applications.
  • Support system requirements analysis, architecture development, verification, and validation activities.
  • Participate in system integration testing, troubleshooting, and performance evaluation to ensure compliance with technical and mission requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation including system engineering artifacts, test plans, interface control documents, and configuration management records.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support lifecycle sustainment activities.
Required Qualifications
  • TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of Systems Engineering experience on programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related technical discipline. Five (5) additional years of Systems Engineering experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Pay Range: $34.96 - $106.10 per hour*
Hourly pay rates listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies; certifications, and geographic location. *Hourly pay rates reflect the pre-benefit gross wage amounts.
