Required Qualifications
The Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology, within the Department of Pediatrics of Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), is seeking an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor of Pediatrics specializing in the treatment of pediatric brain tumors. Completion of a pediatric neuro-oncology fellowship (or practicing as a neuro-oncologist for at least 3 years) is required. The position will assume clinical care of children, adolescent and young adults with brain tumors as a member of the pediatric brain tumor program at OHSU. They will also participate in administrative/leadership responsibilities as assigned by the Division Head; participate in fellow training and student/resident educational programs of the Department; serve on committees and councils of OHSU; participate in outreach and public service programs and professional societies with the knowledge and consent of the Chair; conduct collaborative clinical, translational, and/or health systems research at OHSU, and fund these efforts as necessary through grants and contracts.
Preferred Qualifications
  • An M.D. degree or the foreign equivalent.
  • Oregon medical licensure or eligibility for licensure.
  • Board Certification or eligibility for Board Certification in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology-Oncology.
  • Completion of a pediatric neuro-oncology fellowship (or practicing as a neuro-oncologist for at least 3 years) is required.
