Job description

Formulation Laboratory Technician
 
Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Scientist for a long term 12-month contract position (with the ability to convert) at a cutting-edge biomanufacturing company in Pleasanton, CA.  If you’re passionate about bringing the latest scientific discoveries to life and are ready to take the next step in your career, trust The Experts at Hiring Experts.
Pay Rate:  
$25.45/hour
Overview:
This client is an industry-leading biomanufacturing company focused on making the world cleaner, healthier, and safer.
Schedule: 
Monday-Friday, 2:00pm to 10:30pm
 
Responsibilities:
  • Executes the daily production schedule for changeovers, reviews, or packaging using manual and automated processes.
  • Assist in developing Oligonucleotides, each team supports various aspects of the development process
  • Uses different solvents and solutions to synthesize the correct oligo product
  • Perform Quality Control checks for yield, quality, etc. 
  • Perform pipetting, developing of solutions, and using lab instrumentation per protocols
  • Follows standard operating procedures and good document practices.
  • Works as an individual and as a team member to ensure all assigned tasks are completed on a daily basis.
  • Communicates status updates to department Leads and Supervisors.
  • May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Science discipline preferred OR
  • Relevant manufacturing lab experience with Associates or High School Diploma/GED
