About this Role - Billing Specialist
We are looking for a talented Billing Specialist who has a passion for quality construction. In this position you will be responsible for reviewing all job costs and preparing customer invoices per contractual language, recording sales and verifying customer billings. Other responsibilities include providing a wide variety of clerical and administrative support to operations.
What You'll Do
- Manage daily administrative and office supports operations of the office including establishing work priorities and workflow
- Review all job costs and supporting documentation
- Prepare invoices per contractual language
- Record sales activity and reconcile with the A/R Ledger
- Interact with key customers and Project Managers to ensure accurate job costs and invoices
- Update and maintain labor rates for current jobs
- Prepare labor rates for bid packages
- Customize customer reports by working with the IT Department
- Set up new proposals and jobs in JDE and distributes accordingly
- Document control for new proposals and job awards
- Data Entry of jobs account structure
- Entry and processing of Contracts
- Ensures the execution of company policies and procedures
- Assists with the coordination of field and operational activities in association with Project Managers
- Assists with weekly union payroll review
