This Is a fully remote position with travel required.

About Cloudelligent

Cloudelligent is an AWS Premier Consulting Partner helping organizations modernize, migrate, and innovate in the cloud. We work at the intersection of cloud, data, and AI to solve real business problems and not just implement technology. With an international footprint, Cloudelligent is customer-obsessed and focuses on Generative AI and Agentic AI to deliver practical, scalable solutions.

Job Objective

As a Solutions Architect – Migration and Modernization at Cloudelligent, you will take end-to-end ownership of designing, selling, and delivering secure, compliant, and scalable AWS solutions. This is a hands-on role that combines presales responsibilities with deep technical execution. You will lead architecture design, support presales engagements, and implement AWS Control Tower–based landing zones while driving complex cloud migration and modernization initiatives for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead presales technical engagements by working closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements, design solutions, and contribute to proposals, estimates, and statements of work.

  • Architect, build, and operate multi-account AWS environments using AWS Control Tower, AWS Organizations, Landing Zones, IAM, and Service Control Policies (SCPs).

  • Own cloud migration initiatives from discovery and assessment through execution, validation, and post-migration optimization.

  • Hands-on implementation of secure, compliant, and well-architected AWS solutions aligned with AWS Well-Architected Framework and regulatory requirements.

  • Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and/or AWS CDK to automate provisioning and governance.

  • Implement identity, security, and access management solutions using IAM, AWS SSO, encryption, and security monitoring services.

  • Design and deploy containerized and modern application platforms using Docker, ECS, EKS, and Kubernetes.

  • Build and integrate CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows to support scalable and repeatable cloud deployments.

  • Design and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure operational excellence and security visibility.

  • Conduct AWS Well-Architected Framework Reviews (WAFR) and lead remediation efforts.

  • Advise customers on cloud governance, compliance, and security best practices.

  • Drive cloud cost optimization initiatives using AWS cost management tools and FinOps best practices.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing AWS architectures in customer-facing roles.

  • Strong expertise with AWS Control Tower, AWS Organizations, Landing Zones, IAM, and Service Control Policies (SCPs).

  • Proven experience leading cloud migration and modernization projects.

  • Advanced experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.

  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes (ECS/EKS).

  • Strong understanding of AWS security, compliance, monitoring, and operational best practices.

  • Experience supporting presales activities including solution design, technical presentations, and client workshops.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a delivery-focused mindset.

Highly Preferred

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or Associate.

  • AWS Certified Security – Specialty.

  • Background working in an AWS Partner or consulting environment.
