Unifi is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Contractor to provide sourcing, procurement, and supplier management support across a broad portfolio of enterprise spend categories. This role will assist with competitive bid events, supplier research, contract administration, spend analysis, purchase support, and sourcing projects that support operational, maintenance, technology, and corporate functions across North America.


The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and capable of managing multiple projects while partnering with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver cost savings, operational value, and procurement support.


Primary Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing Support

  • ยท Support RFQs, RFPs, and supplier bidding events.
  • ยท Gather and analyze pricing proposals.
  • ยท Conduct supplier and market research.
  • ยท Develop bid comparison and cost analysis models.
  • ยท Support supplier negotiations and contract renewals.
  • ยท Assist in identifying cost savings and process improvement opportunities.
  • ยท Maintain sourcing project documentation and reports.

Procurement & Supplier Management

  • ยท Assist with supplier onboarding activities.
  • ยท Coordinate supplier communications and follow-up actions.
  • ยท Support supplier performance reviews and scorecards.
  • ยท Track contract expiration dates and renewal opportunities.
  • ยท Help resolve supplier, invoicing, and order-related issues.
  • ยท Maintain procurement databases and sourcing documentation.

Qualifications

  • ยท Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • ยท Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • ยท Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

Preferred

  • ยท Experience supporting sourcing projects or supplier negotiations.
  • ยท Knowledge of contract and procurement processes.
  • ยท Experience using ERP, procurement, or sourcing platforms.
  • ยท Aviation, transportation, logistics, maintenance, or multi-site operational experience is a plus.
