Job description

Applied Risk Capital ("ARC") is an underwriting platform focused on protecting banks and credit funds against loss of principal on leveraged finance loans. ARC works with a panel of A+ or higher rated insurance companies to provide this protection through a non-payment insurance policy.
We are seeking a Policy & Contract Associate Manager to support the negotiation, execution, administration, and ongoing management of carrier agreements and insurance policies issued by ARC on behalf of its carrier panel.
Job Duties:
  • Assisting annually in renewal negotiations and documentation of carrier capacity agreements.
  • Ensuring that all insurance policies, endorsements, amendments, and related carrier forms are accurately prepared, reviewed, executed, tracked, and maintained in compliance with contractual, regulatory, and carrier requirements.
  • Serving as the central point of coordination between ARC, its carrier partners, brokers, and insured parties to ensure timely policy issuance, accurate documentation, and proper oversight throughout the policy lifecycle.
  • Manage the end-to-end execution of insurance policies, endorsements, amendments, waivers, and related carrier documentation.
  • Review policy forms, risk details, and endorsements for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with underwriting approvals and carrier requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, Legal Studies or related field.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and credit analysis principles.
  • 3-6+ years of prior experience in insurance policy administration, contract management, or legal operations role.
  • Familiarity with insurance policies, endorsements, binders, and carrier forms.
  • Experience in specialty, credit, or financial lines insurance is a plus.
