  • 5+ Support of MicroStation / ProjectWise / OpenRoads Designer
  • 5+ Enterprise software implementation and deployment
  • 5+ Software package creation and deployment
  • 5+ SME for CADD tools and provides extensive support for civil engineering software
  • 5+ Effective customer-centric support
  • 5+ Experience providing guidance to end users based on analysis of hardware, software and technologies associated with civil engineering workflows
  • Excellent communication skills and team player
  • Exercises logic and reasoning to define problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Makes decisions that support business objectives and goals
  • Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ Years - Work on TxDOT CADD/Engineering projects
  • Experience using AI tools to gain efficiencies in Digital Delivery.

TXDOT WORK TO BE ACCOMPLISHED:

The IT Division of TxDOT is seeking experienced support analysts to provide operation, management, and support for computer aided design and drafting applications ("CADD"), roadway design applications, imagery (e.g., 3D imaging support), civil design, modeling support, and general engineering services.

The worker’s responsibilities and skills must include:

  • Share knowledge of CADD / civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Troubleshoots CADD issues.
  • Assist end users to ensure that CADD projects are completed on time, within budget and to users' requirements.
  • Collaborates with business analysts, technical writers, developers, and others to understand CADD requirements.
