Your Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a Service Contract Manager to join our Marine & Ports Propulsion Service unit in Vuosaari, Helsinki. The position can also be based in Miramar, USA, or Turku, Finland. In this position, you will manage a service agreement and ensure that contract-related obligations are fulfilled. To be successful, you will also need to identify sales opportunities and lead development projects, while ensuring all contract management activities are executed according to company procedures and the contract management framework.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Ensuring that service agreement commitments are followed and implemented with a sense of urgency and care

  • Identifying opportunities for improving the customers' operations and eliminating pain points

  • Preparing and executing regular performance reviews internally and externally with the customer

  • Supporting the development of the contracts by gathering customer feedback and distributing it to the appropriate part of the organization

  • Optimizing service contracts through data-driven analysis and continuous identification of improvement opportunities

  • Coaching and supporting service projects and site managers in their projects

  • Creating and organizing handovers for project managers to initiate contracts' projects

Qualifications for the Role

  • Several years of experience from service business, for example in project management, sales, supply chain or account management. Experience from Marine industry is seen as advantage.

  • Independent and solution-focused way of working with analytical abilities

  • Wide knowledge of contracts, preferably long-term service contracts, and proven track record in contract and customer relationship management

  • M.Sc. in Engineering or Economics

  • Strong written and spoken communication skills in English
