Job description

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join a healthcare organization in Colorado Springs, Colorado on a Contract basis. This interim opportunity will provide critical financial planning and analysis support during an important budgeting cycle, with a focus on delivering clear insights, dependable forecasting, and decision-ready reporting. The position will work closely with finance and operational leaders to evaluate performance, develop models, and contribute to strategic initiatives across a growing multi-site environment.
Responsibilities:
• Lead annual budget development and maintain rolling forecasts to support timely financial planning decisions.
• Examine profit and loss results, uncover key drivers behind variances, and communicate findings to leadership in a clear and practical way.
• Create, refine, and manage financial models for cash flow planning, investment decisions, and broader business scenarios.
• Prepare forward-looking analyses for expansion opportunities, capital purchases, and other growth-related initiatives.
• Deliver weekly and monthly reporting materials for executives, highlighting trends, risks, and performance insights.
• Support cash flow monitoring and provide analysis that strengthens financial visibility across the organization.
• Review agreements and assess their financial implications to help inform business decisions.
• Contribute to strategic and value-focused projects by analyzing financial and operational information and recommending improvements.
• Assist with integration-related financial activities for newly combined operations and help identify data gaps or inconsistencies.
• Partner with finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders on ad hoc analysis and special projects as business needs arise.• At least 5 years of progressive experience in FP& A, corporate finance, or accounting roles.
• Strong capability in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and advanced financial modeling.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to work efficiently across large and complex data sets.
• Experience producing executive-level reports, summaries, and presentation materials for senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and prioritize effectively with limited oversight.
• Strong investigative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify data issues and recommend practical solutions.
• Experience with planning platforms such as Planful, Adaptive Planning, Hyperion, Anaplan, Axiom, or similar tools; Sage Intacct and Tableau exposure are helpful.
• Industry experience in healthcare or other multi-site service environments, along with exposure to integrations or transformation initiatives, is preferred.
