Job description

Vice President, Private Label Business Development & Commercialization

Covetrus is a global animal-health technology and services leader dedicated to empowering veterinary practice partners to drive improved health and financial outcomes. We bring together products, services, and technology into a single platform that connects our customers to the solutions and insights they need to work best. Our passion for the well-being of animals and those who care for them drives us to advance the world of veterinary medicine.

The Vice President, Private Label Business Development & Commercialization is a critical senior leadership role responsible for building, scaling, and commercializing the North American Covetrus Brand private label portfolio. This role positions private label as a strategic growth engine driving customer savings, supplier differentiation, and long-term enterprise value.

Operating as the enterprise subject matter expert for private label, this leader owns end-to-end portfolio strategy, supplier development, and go-to-market execution, partnering cross-functionally to bring high-quality, cost-effective products to market while strengthening Covetrus' competitive position.

This role sits within a senior peer group that includes the heads of Category Management, Digital Commerce, Online Pharmacy, Strategic Sourcing, Pricing, Distribution Operations, and GPO reflecting the commercial breadth and organizational influence expected of the leader in this seat.

This role leads portfolio expansion across key categories, builds a scalable innovation pipeline, and ensures disciplined commercialization and performance management. The role requires strong cross-functional leadership, financial acumen, and the ability to influence at the senior leadership level.

Executive access and organizational authority: Reporting directly to the COO of North America, this role has direct line of sight to senior leadership and PE stakeholders. You will have the platform, the resources, and the cross-functional reach to execute without bureaucratic drag.

High-impact growth lever: Private label is one of Covetrus's most important drivers of margin expansion and competitive differentiation your work will have direct enterprise-level impact.

Mission that matters: Help veterinarians run better practices with high quality, low cost product alternatives
