Moog's Military Aircraft Group is seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our team!

This role offers a first shift, hybrid work schedule based out of East Aurora, NY

As a Contract Administrator, you will:

  • Negotiate, execute, and manage various contracts and business agreements across all areas of Moog's business.

  • Conduct proposal and order reviews, and review terms and conditions for sales, procurement, general services, and operations.

  • Handle customer correspondence on contractual matters, assist with complex negotiations, and administer various types of agreements.

  • Serve as the primary interface on all contractual matters in assigned business areas, collaborating closely with Moog Legal and other departments.

  • Monitor contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with terms and conditions, regulatory requirements, and completion of obligations prior to closeout.

  • Reviewing purchase orders with appropriate Moog disciplines to ensure that all contractual requirements are consistent with Moog's proposal

  • Assisting other departments on the preparation of follow on proposals

  • Maintaining current and accurate contract files including quotations, negotiation history, purchase orders, and change orders

To be considered for the Contract Administrator Role, here's what you would typically bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field with 2 years of prior relevant experience OR Associates degree in related field with 5 years of prior relevant experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and Adobe.

  • Experience contracting directly with US Government, Prime, and Subcontractor procurement officials, with knowledge of the US Government uniform contract format (UCF) and related procurement vehicles is a plus

  • Experience working independently, prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines with minimal supervision, and influencing internal and external partners.

  • Minimal Travel Required

To be successful in this role, candidates will typically possess:

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Clear, effective communication skills. Detailed oriented.

  • Must be able to meet high productivity and accuracy standards. High focus and concentration needed for computer, analytical, organizational and time management.

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel, computer/PC skills.

  • Excellent documentation and follow-up skills required.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $70,000.00-$95,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
