Continuous Improvement ManagerWe?re working with a growing manufacturer seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to oversee and manage facility projects and the continued expansion of its operations. This is an outstanding opportunity for a hands-on leader to drive continuous improvement and the facilities to excellence and make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Location: Central New York StateJob Responsibilities:Create and execute a site-wide operational enhancement roadmap by evaluating risk, opportunity, and business impact to prioritize improvement efforts.Champion enterprise-wide operational excellence programs by partnering with cross-functional leaders to build sustainable performance improvement strategies.Coordinate and guide improvement initiatives, workshops, and employee engagement activities that strengthen operational performance, increase efficiency, and foster a continuous improvement culture.Evaluate operational performance, investigate recurring issues, optimize workflow, improve production processes, assess facility layouts, and develop standardized operating procedures to support business objectives.Direct focused improvement sessions that address operational challenges, eliminate inefficiencies, and improve critical manufacturing processes.Monitor and measure the business impact of improvement initiatives by tracking operational and financial performance against established objectives.Build and maintain annual operational improvement roadmaps, process optimization plans, and implementation schedules to ensure continuous progress.Mentor and develop team members by providing coaching, resources, and practical guidance that enables them to successfully lead process improvement initiatives.Collaborate with engineering and operations teams during the selection, installation, startup, and optimization of new equipment and manufacturing technologies.Analyze current operational workflows, identify future opportunities for optimization, and develop implementation strategies that improve efficiency, capacity, and overall business performance.Ensure compliance with all OSHA, NYSDA, PMO, FDA, and assist in maintaining SQF readiness, and HACCP.Required Skills/Qualifications: 5+ years manufacturing experience and/or Bachelors Degree preferredDairy technology knowledge preferred (Opposed to just manufacturing)Knowledge of PMO, SQF, FSMA, GMP, and OSHA requirements.Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Experience developing employees, managing performance, and driving continuous improvement.Proficient with Microsoft Office and manufacturing documentation systems.Comfortable working independently while leading a critical operation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
