What You'll Do:
Continuous Improvement & Lean Leadership
  • Support the deployment and sustainment of Lean and SSPS programs across all plants.
  • Support the development of content in Lean and mattress manufacturing, train and coach CI Managers, plant leadership and other operational team as needed.
  • Support analyzing plant processes to identify, standardize, and deploy best practices throughout the network.
  • Provide support to CI Managers in conducting annual Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Bedding Assessment to identify areas of opportunity for improvement.
  • Identify, justify, and lead cost savings initiatives at scale.
  • Lead and facilitate Kaizen activities and continuous improvement projects, problem-solving, and corrective actioning.
  • Drive Daily Management Rhythm (DMR) compliance throughout the network.
  • Manage the implementation of corporate initiatives to improve SQDCP metrics network wide.
  • Develop and update Standard Work as needed.

Training & Development
  • Design and deliver Lean Fundamentals training.
  • Mentor CI Managers in project management, Lean techniques, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement throughout the network.

Program & Project Management
  • Lead and support strategic projects and initiatives that impact multiple plants.
  • Manage network-wide Kaizen roadmaps and improvement plans.
  • Track, monitor, and report on project status and effectiveness using KPIs.
  • Support senior leadership with strategic planning and execution.

What You'll Do Cont'd:
Standardization & Best Practice Deployment
  • Document and deploy best practices across all sites.
  • Develop the Bedding Assessment process to ensure standardization and compliance across the network.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to drive standardization that yields SQDCP improvements and standardization.

Collaboration & Communication
  • Collaborate with plant leadership, CI Managers, and cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.
  • Present improvement initiatives, results, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Network with other plants and external partners to leverage new ideas and innovations.

Agility & Change Management
  • Adapt to evolving business priorities.
  • Develop and champion new ideas for continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing, quality, or operations, with preferred multi-site responsibility.
  • Certified Six Sigma Black or equivalent desired.
  • Experience training and mentoring leaders in Lean techniques.
  • Experience in mattress manufacturing or similar industry preferred
  • Proven experience leading network-wide Lean transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experienced knowledge of Lean concepts and tools (5S, value stream mapping, line balancing, visual workplace, flow and pull manufacturing, pareto analysis, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Smartsheet, Power BI.
  • Working knowledge of AI tools.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and leadership skills at multiple organizational levels.
  • Ability to influence and coach leaders at multiple levels.
  • Proven ability to influence others using data driven models.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
