Position Overview:
The Continuous Improvement & Lean Expert will lead and implement Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives for the containerization of INNIO Jenbacher J6 engines, in collaboration with our joint-venture partner Gfรถllner. Drive operational excellence, process optimization, and best practice standardization within the joint venture assembly plant. This role is essential for delivering world-class containerized Jenbacher J6 solutions and building a culture of continuous improvement.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Analyze, design, and optimize assembly processes using Lean methodologies (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, VSM)
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops to identify and eliminate waste
  • Develop and maintain Standard Work Instructions and visual management tools
  • Support implementation of quality, safety, and efficiency improvements
  • Train and coach shop floor teams on Lean principles and problem-solving techniques
  • Monitor KPIs, report progress, and drive corrective actions
  • Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and JV partner teams to ensure robust process integration

Your Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in Lean/CI roles within industrial assembly or containerization
  • Strong knowledge of Lean tools and best practices
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Fluency in English; other languages are of advantage
