Job Title: Procurement Project Manager

Location: Remote

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Project Manager to lead procurement operations, contingent workforce initiatives, supplier management, and cross-functional project delivery. This individual will drive procurement transformation initiatives, support MSP/VMS implementations, optimize supplier performance, and manage procurement programs that improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, sourcing, contingent labor management, project management, and vendor relationship management within large enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day procurement operations and contingent labor programs.
  • Lead procurement-related projects from planning through execution.
  • Support Benefits and Contingent Labor digital transformation initiatives.
  • Manage MSP/VMS implementation projects and continuous improvements.
  • Support DePuy Synthes separation procurement activities.
  • Coordinate international (OUS) Benefits procurement engagements and Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Evaluate contingent labor requests and identify procurement cost-saving opportunities.
  • Drive tail spend reduction initiatives with MSP partners.
  • Resolve supplier escalations and operational issues.
  • Improve procurement processes and operational efficiencies.
  • Develop procurement operational plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Support procurement governance, compliance, and policy implementation.
  • Conduct procurement audits and corrective action planning.
  • Monitor project budgets, supplier performance, and departmental expenses.
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, vendor onboarding, and contract administration.
  • Track procurement KPIs, project milestones, savings, risks, and operational metrics.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, procurement teams, suppliers, MSPs, and VMS providers.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (Associate's Degree acceptable with strong procurement and project management experience)
