The Nordic Behavioral and Psychological Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in a full-time remote position. We specialize in treating individuals who have been affected by post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders.

This full-time position primarily operates in a remote setting, allowing flexibility for our staff while catering to the needs of our diverse patient population. • Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients' trauma history and identify suitable treatment modalities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are strategically focused on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental health improvement.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to each patient's unique experience.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that guide patients in processing their trauma, building coping strategies, and fostering healing in a supportive setting.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to deliver integrated care that addresses all aspects of a patient's well-being.
• Deliver crisis intervention support in trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that patients receive immediate assistance when necessary.
• Provide education to patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources within the mental health community.
• Maintain accurate and confidential progress notes and documentation in compliance with all legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Participate actively in case consultations, professional development workshops, and team meetings focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.
• Stay informed of the latest research and best practices within trauma therapy to ensure that our treatment methodologies are current and effective.

Nordic Behavioral and Psychological Center primarily serves a diverse patient population that includes individuals coping with various trauma-related disorders, PTSD, and complex trauma. • A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT is mandatory to practice in the state of Georgia.
• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver effective trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.
• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and provide sound clinical judgment.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant clinical software.
• A collaborative spirit, capable of thriving in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience working within a clinical mental health setting, preferably focusing on trauma.
• Experience with evidence-based trauma interventions and group therapy facilitation.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
