| Aspect | Learning Disabilities | Speech-Language Pathologists |
|---|---|---|

Reports To: Academic Resource Center (ARC) DirectorWhat You'll Do Direct Student Support
- Work one-on-one, in pairs, and in small groups with students diagnosed with learning differences or other diagnoses that impact achievement
- Address reading, writing, math, executive functioning, study skills, social-emotional wellness, and other identified areas of need based on teacher input and psycho-educational testing

- Provide periodic faculty professional development on best practices for serving students with learning differences
- Interpret psycho-educational reports and convey pertinent educational recommendations to teachers and parents in clear, accessible language
- Communicate regularly with parents through conferences and monthly progress comments, keeping families informed of challenges and growth
- Attend and/or schedule conferences with parents and teachers as needed
- Participate actively in the life of the school, including ARC meetings, division meetings, whole-school meetings, and grade-level meetings
