This role offers a remote work setting, enabling flexibility while maintaining a strong connection with our community health clinic in Marietta, Georgia. The position typically follows a work schedule from Monday to Friday, with hours between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Occasionally, evening shifts and rotating weekends may be required, along with some on-call responsibilities.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for students with diverse special needs, ensuring their unique histories and needs are thoroughly understood.
• Develop, review, and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on mental health issues, emotional well-being, and success within the educational environment.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to conditions such as ASD, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, ADHD, and trauma.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, engaging students in activities designed to promote personal growth and effective coping strategies.
• Collaborate closely with educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other professionals to provide well-rounded care, sharing insights and strategies to enhance student outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring students feel safe and supported.
• Educate students and families about mental health conditions and the resources available to them.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.
• Attend team meetings, case conferences, and engage in continuous education and professional development opportunities.
• Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines, integrating them into clinical practice.

In this role, you will primarily work with students experiencing various challenges such as autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, ADHD, and trauma. You will play a vital role in addressing the complex emotional and psychological needs of these students, contributing to their overall development and academic success.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Georgia.
• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Exceptional ability in conducting mental health assessments and formulating comprehensive treatment plans based on evidence.
• Experience in delivering individual and group therapy using diverse therapeutic approaches that resonate with our student population.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a commitment to maintaining professional boundaries.
• Adept at using electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer proficiency is essential.

While two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with a solid understanding of mental health best practices and a dedication to improving the lives of students will also be considered.
