Position Overview:


The Manager, Product & Content Marketing is responsible for translating product capabilities and brand positioning into clear commercial value that accelerates sales performance and channel adoption. This role serves as a strategic bridge between Product, Sales, and Marketing by developing differentiated product messaging, compelling storytelling, and strategic content that communicates value to target customers and priority vertical markets.


This position leads the development and execution of the company's content strategy, managing the full content lifecycle from editorial planning and messaging development to content production and distribution. The role ensures consistent, high-impact storytelling across marketing campaigns, product launches, digital channels, and sales communications.


Working closely with Product Management, Demand Generation, and Sales & Channel Enablement, the Manager ensures that product innovation, market insights, and customer needs are translated into content and messaging that support marketing initiatives, strengthen brand authority, and enable sales teams to effectively communicate product value.


Essential Job Functions :



  • Develop and refine product value propositions and messaging frameworks that clearly articulate differentiation and market value.

  • Define and maintain competitive positioning and messaging against key market competitors.

  • Translate product capabilities, features, and technical attributes into clear messaging aligned with target industries, hazards, and customer use cases.

  • Align with product launch strategy and commercialization efforts, ensuring coordinated go-to-market execution across teams.

  • Own the content strategy and editorial governance to ensure consistency, brand alignment, and strategic messaging.

  • Develop integrated content plans and campaigns aligned with product priorities, market opportunities, and revenue objectives.

  • Ensure content aligns with customer journey stages and supports both demand generation and sales enablement.

  • Manage the full content lifecycle including planning, development, approvals, publication, and ongoing optimization.


Content Development & Execution



  • Lead the creation of marketing content including product messaging, articles, case studies, application guides, videos, campaign assets, and digital content.

  • Manage the development and production of content in partnership with internal creative resources and external partners.

  • Ensure marketing content is optimized for multiple channels including web, social media, email campaigns, and sales enablement platforms.

  • Prioritize and manage content production workflows to ensure timely delivery of marketing assets.

  • Partner with Sales and Sales Operations to develop sales messaging frameworks, playbooks, and enablement materials.

  • Create tools that help sales teams communicate product value effectively in competitive selling environments.

  • Ensure messaging consistency across sales presentations, marketing materials, and customer-facing communications.

  • Support channel partners with clear messaging and sales-ready materials.


Vertical & Thought Leadership Content



  • Develop industry and hazard-specific storytelling that positions the company as a thought leader.

  • Translate product capabilities into practical problem-solution narratives relevant to priority vertical markets and customer segments.

  • Support development of thought leadership content that positions the company as an authority in workplace safety and protective apparel.


Voice of Customer & Market Insights



  • Collaborate with CX, Product, and Sales teams to capture Voice of Customer insights.

  • Use customer feedback and market intelligence to refine messaging, content priorities, and positioning.

  • Inform product strategy with insights from market trends and customer needs.


Creative & Campaign Execution



  • Lead or collaborate on the creative execution of key marketing initiatives, ensuring content is engaging and aligned with brand standards.

  • Work cross-functionally with design, digital, and campaign teams to deliver high-impact marketing assets.


People Development



  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing marketing content and creative team.

  • Establish clear roles, expectations, and performance goals for team members.

  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and customer-focused thinking.

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.

  • 5โ€“8+ years of experience in product marketing, content marketing, or B2B marketing.

  • Demonstrated experience developing messaging frameworks, product narratives, and strategic marketing content.

  • Proven ability to translate complex or technical product capabilities into clear, compelling customer value propositions.

  • Strong writing, storytelling, and content strategy skills across multiple formats.

  • Experience creating sales enablement and go-to-market assets.

  • Ability to translate complex product capabilities into clear commercial value.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Sales, and Customer Experience


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience marketing technical or industrial products in a B2B manufacturing or industrial environment

  • Experience supporting distributor-based or channel-driven sales models.

  • Experience developing marketing content that supports digital discovery, SEO, and campaign execution.

  • Experience managing creative teams or coordinating internal and external resources.

  • Experience working in a private equity-backed or high-growth organization.
