SEO Content Writer responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Develop SEO content that is purposeful, informative, and high-quality, including blogging and other content as needed
  • Collaborate with stakeholder's company-wide to understand and align content to specific business goals
  • Support and influence team goals including website traffic, performance, and engagement goals
  • Participate in collaborative discussions and contribute ideas to influence the SEO strategy
  • Utilize available analytics tools to assess content performance and identify new opportunities
  • Acquire and incorporate SEO strategies throughout written content
  • Evaluate competitors to compare performance and identify additional opportunities
  • Responsible for supporting marketing and training content and copywriting

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • High school Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communication, or related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in SEO preferred
  • Experience working with SEO tools such as SEMrush, WordPress, Yoast, Google Analytics
  • Ability to write in multiple styles: marketing, branding, formal, and journalistic.
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills; strong verbal communicator and presenter
  • Capability to produce short-form and long-form content across a variety of channels
  • Ability to think creatively and work effectively to quickly changing priorities and processes
  • Self-directed and collaborative -- ability to work autonomously and as part of a team as needed
  • Ability to write 4K to 5K researched words each week
  • Previous experience working in supply chain or transportation industry a plus
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently; Spanish is a plus
