Job description

Note: This position requires a active TS/SCI clearance w/poly
Resource will support high level Customer office with project, marketing and Communications support.
Assist in tracking communications and disseminating items that require attention. Resource will prepare
highlights, presentations and reports for Senior level review. Individual will work independently and
collaboratively with the Customer to coordinate and develop products; Gathers, analyzes, and composes
technical information, conducts research and ensures the use of proper technical terminology. Translates
technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical
personnel. Interprets Customer requirements for design; supports the development of all types of
documents and reports by developing and updating graphics/presentations to improve the quality and
enhance the usability of these documents. Develops new concepts, specialty content, oversees
production of materials for on-time review and delivery.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of how to access/use and manipulate client databases (assign actions, respond to messages,
create and post messages)
- General knowledge and familiarity of field activities and how the client supports these activities (policies,
procedures, organization etc.)
- Must be able to take technical notes/highlights and prepare them for non-technical audiences with the intent
of ensuring the content is easy to understand and reflects the impact and importance of the activity.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills to work with different levels to capture the highlights accurately.
- Ability to perform calendar management for client leadership (serves as back-up when MS is out)
- Knowledge of client mission areas (specifically operations)
- Experience setting up meetings, creating agendas, arranging off-sites, and taking / publishing professional
meeting minutes.
- Experience supporting general administrative needs (updating door/office logos, submitting requests, etc.)
- Previous experience producing products for management level deliverables
- Ability to work and deliver on short suspense tasking/products in a fast paced potentially stressful
environment
- Working level knowledge of web products, to include Sharepoint (user level only), Wikis, Lotus Notes
Databases, etc.
- Understanding of general field IT issues, and a general knowledge of the project management
process.
- Strong writing and oral communications skills
- Possess presentation skills
- Strong experience/skill in using Microsoft Office Product Suite.
Desired Skills
- 5 years' experience in preparing published products
- Past experience working with Senior Managers in the Government or Private Sector
- Knowledge of customer software, systems, policies, procedures.
- Experience with JIRA, AGILE processes, SCRUM, Confluence desired
- Knowledge of Project Management Framework procedures employing full life cycle program
management.
