Job description

Join NEXCOM for an exciting 18-month project supporting Ecommerce, digital content, and enterprise marketing operations in a fast-paced collaborative environment. This short-term position offers benefits and is eligible for remote work.
Job Summary
Position has responsibility for collecting, organizing, formatting, and editing all content for different NEXCOM system-wide marketing channels, including but not limited to catalogs, circulars, flyers, web, social media, email, and in-store digital signage.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists in the collecting, organizing, formatting and editing of copy/content for print media, using a Macintosh workstation and Adobe Creative Suite software.
- Assists in development and implementation of copy standards and processes.
- Proofs for accuracy of content and corrects as needed.
- Assists in organizing media into correct channels/versions of media.
- Ensures all standards/formatting styles are adhered to in all media.
- Assists in organizing and exporting of Ad Database Content using a PC-Workstation.
- Adheres to fast-paced content and project schedule.
- Manages a content and project schedule.
- Assists in tracking content/assets where necessary.
- Coordinates closely with the web producer and the rest of the web team.
- Assists in the collecting, organizing, formatting and editing of all image content for print and digital media.
- Works closely with Merchandising group, Products and Promotions teams to ensure all content is submitted in accordance with turn-in meetings and content/project schedules.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: 3 years experience in administrative professional technical or other responsible work that required the applicant to demonstrate proficient skill in coordinating and managing project schedules communication writing and editing and organization and the ability to work with multiple teams departments and coordinate different projects.
OR SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: 1 year of education above the high school level may be substituted for 9 months experience. Up to a maximum of a 4 year bachelors degree in Technical Writing English Journalism Multimedia or other related fields for 3 years of general experience.
AND SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of experience in web content creation or management including experience with Adobe Creative Suite Microsoft Office Lotus Notes or e-mail software basic knowledge of HTML and other web-based technologies and four-color process printing processes.
