About the Role:

The Content Marketing Specialist executes high-quality content that drives organic search visibility, supports content operations and programs, and brings an open, builder-oriented mindset to understanding Motive's industry, customers, and content needs. This role sits within the Content Marketing team and is responsible for producing blog content, supporting content marketing programs by working with cross-functional partners to create content that maintains our standards and pushes our creativity, and identifying and building workflows that improve how the team manages content operations.

At this level, you're producing high-quality content and you're asking how the production process itself can be made smarter, more scalable, and more impactful. You work with structure and supervision, and you're actively building toward the point where you're solving problems before they're handed to you.

What You'll Do:
  • Write and publish high-quality blog content focused on customer stories, industry verticals, product features, SEO- or AEO-optimized topics, and more
  • Support the execution of content across Content Marketing's cross-functional programs, including supporting some combination of product marketing, demand generation, corporate campaigns, and customer marketing.
  • Explore AI-assisted workflows to improve the team's ability to scale content production, recycle assets reliably, and identify high-value customer proof points
  • Participate in content planning processes, contributing research-backed recommendations on topics, content formats, and production priorities
  • Track content performance for published pieces, using data to refine approach and inform future production priorities
What We're Looking For:
  • 2+ years of content marketing or editorial experience, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong research and writing skills across B2B topics; or equivalent professional experience in content-adjacent fields (communications, journalism, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to produce clear, well-structured, accurate content on complex or technical subjects, particularly at the intersection of industry verticals and technology
  • Solid understanding of SEO and AEO principles, with experience applying them in editorial planning or content production a nice to have
  • Highly organized and deadline-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and surface dependencies before they become problems
  • Comfort using data and research tools to inform content decisions, identify gaps, and measure performance
  • Early adopter mindset - curiosity about AI tools and a track record of testing and implementing new approaches to improve output quality or process efficiency
  • Strong collaboration skills; comfortable working across PMM, SEO, campaigns, and other teams to gather information, align on priorities, and keep projects on track
  • Familiarity with the physical operations, fleet management, or transportation space is a plus
  • LOCATION: Must be in the Austin, Texas areas (2 days a week in the office)Â
