Job description

About WorldVia

WorldVia Travel Network is a leading host agency and community for independent travel advisors, helping entrepreneurs build thriving travel businesses through exceptional support, resources, and connection.

About the Role

WorldVia Travel Network builds its member community through a family of Member Hubs—programs for advisors who specialize in specific types of travel—supported by private Facebook groups, dedicated WorldVia.PRO hub pages, and live and virtual events, alongside an overarching members-only Facebook group for all WorldVia advisors. The Community Manager is the day-to-day owner of the life of those programs and communities: the conversations, recognition, programming, and presence that keep members connected to one another and to WorldVia between formal events.

This role goes beyond moderation. The Community Manager helps shape vibrant, high-value member experiences across multiple community vehicles, ensuring that each Hub and the broader members-only community feels active, welcoming, supportive, and aligned with WorldVia’s brand and mission.

What You'll Do

Member Hub Program Management

  • Serve as the day-to-day steward of WorldVia’s Member Hubs, including programs such as Crown and Diamond Clubs, Spark Society, and Thrillseekers, helping keep each one healthy, active, and on-brand.
  • Help plan and run each Hub’s monthly meeting, coordinating agendas, speakers, and follow-up so every session delivers value to members.
  • Support the overall member experience across the different vehicles that bring each Hub to life, including private Facebook groups, WorldVia.PRO hub pages, and live or virtual events.

Community Engagement

  • Moderate each Hub’s private Facebook group as well as the overarching members-only Facebook group, enforcing community guidelines and keeping conversation welcoming and aligned with WorldVia’s voice.
  • Maintain a consistent daily presence across community spaces by starting conversations, responding to members, asking thoughtful questions, and keeping momentum going between meetings and events.
  • Welcome new members into groups and programs, helping them find their footing and understand how to engage with the broader WorldVia community.
  • Surface and celebrate member wins, milestones, and contributions to reinforce belonging and participation.

Programming & Content

  • Plan and host recurring livestreams and interactive community formats, including Q&As, member spotlights, behind-the-scenes conversations, and other engagement-driven programming.
  • Develop and publish ad hoc, non-educational community content across the Hubs, the members-only Facebook group, and other member-facing channels within WorldVia.PRO.
  • Maintain a lightweight content calendar so community engagement runs on a predictable and sustainable rhythm.

Member Recognition & Progression

  • Track members who newly qualify for access to programs such as Crown Club and Diamond Club, and deliver timely, personal congratulations and welcomes.
  • Monitor members approaching the next tier and proactively encourage their progress through recognition, check-ins, and connection to relevant resources.
  • Partner with internal teams to source the member data needed to support accurate recognition and outreach workflows.

Field Event Support

  • Support Agency Development on member meet-ups and other in-person experiences, providing on-the-ground community support rather than owning full event logistics.
  • Serve as a visible, approachable representative of the Member Development & Engagement team at external and in-person events.

What Success Looks Like
  • Active, growing participation across the Member Hubs and the members-only Facebook group.
  • Members feel seen, welcomed, supported, and encouraged as they grow their businesses within the WorldVia network.
  • A consistent cadence of meetings, livestreams, conversations, and community content that keeps members engaged between formal events.
  • Timely recognition for new qualifiers and meaningful encouragement for members progressing toward the next level.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in community management, social media engagement, or member-facing programming, ideally in a membership, network, or online community setting.
  • A strong, warm written voice and comfort showing up live and on camera for livestreams and interactive community formats.
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort tracking participation, milestones, and engagement patterns.
  • A self-directed, proactive working style and sound judgment for maintaining positive, on-brand community spaces.
  • Familiarity with the travel advisor, host agency, or membership-based business space is a strong plus.
  • Ability to travel periodically for member events and in-person community touchpoints.

Benefits

  • Employer-Sponsored Medical and Dental Insurance with Employee Contribution
  • Fully-Funded Life Insurance (1x salary) & Long-Term Disability Insurance
  • Optional Employee-Paid Vision Insurance and Short-Term Disability Insurance
  • 401k with up to 4% Company Match
  • Paid Time Off + Company Holidays
  • Additional Day Off for Your Birthday and Work Anniversary
  • Opportunities for professional development and career growth
  • Travel industry perks and discounts
  • Collaborative and innovative work environment
