Job description

Content Marketing Intern
Claim Health • New York, NY (In-Person) • Internship
10-12 weeks • Competitive stipend • YC-backed, early-stage
About Claim Health
Claim Health is the AI Revenue Platform for Post-Acute Care.
With the US population aging and preference for care moving to the home, post-acute care (home health, skilled nursing, home care, hospice) is one of the fastest growing verticals within healthcare. Post-acute providers operate across fragmented systems, manual workflows, and reactive processes that create operational drag and financial uncertainty. Claim Health replaces this fragmentation with an intelligent, software-driven platform that unifies data, automates execution, and enables real-time decision-making across revenue-critical operations.
The Role
Most people's eyes glaze over when you say "prior authorization" or "revenue cycle management." Yours don't. You see a broken system that affects millions of patients and the providers caring for them and you know there's a story worth telling buried in the data.
You'll work directly with the founding team to shape how Claim Health communicates - translating complex, data-heavy operational realities into content that drives curiosity, builds credibility, and moves people to care about what's happening in post-acute care.
You can expect to:
  • Write articles, thought leadership pieces, and long-form content that make the economics and operations of home health and hospice compelling to read
  • Turn dense industry data and informatics into narratives that actually land
  • Draft website copy, LinkedIn posts, email sequences, and sales collateral that reflects Claim Health's voice
  • Interview members of the founding team and distill their expertise into publishable content
  • Research industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics and find the angle worth writing about
  • Help develop and maintain Claim Health's editorial voice across every channel

What We're Looking For
  • Exceptional writing - clarity, rhythm, and the ability to make complicated things feel simple without dumbing them down
  • Genuine curiosity about healthcare - you don't need to be an expert, but you need to want to become one
  • Ability to translate data, research, and subject matter expertise into stories people actually want to read
  • Strong instincts for what makes something worth publishing vs. what belongs in a Google Doc
  • Fast - you can produce quality work under tight timelines without it showing
  • On-site in NYC full-time for the duration of the internship

Strong plus
  • Writing samples in healthcare, policy, business, or technology
  • Experience with SEO or content strategy
  • Familiarity with the business of healthcare - reimbursement, operations, or policy
  • Background in journalism, communications, or English
Compensation
Competitive stipend • Direct collaboration with the founding team • Bylines on real content that reaches a real audience
Claim Health is an equal opportunity employer.
