Job description

Content Marketing Intern Gotcha Focaccia Content Marketing Intern

Location: Fort Greene, Brooklyn (in-person and hybrid)
Type: Internship, stipend-based (paid per content produced) with potential to grow into a paid, part-time role
Dates: September - December 2026

About Gotcha Focaccia

Gotcha Focaccia combines traditional Ligurian baking techniques with bold, modern toppings for a rich, fluffy bite. Since launching at Smorgasburg, we've brought our delicious focaccia and Pop Up Focacceria to customers all across NYC. We currently operate at the Fort Greene Market on Saturdays, and host additional events and pop ups across NYC.

About the Role

You'll work directly with the founder (a former brand marketer) to create and execute Gotcha Focaccia's Q4 content strategy. This isn't a "shoot what we tell you" internship. It is a full-scope internship that will provide you with the professional knowledge, skills and portfolio needed to launch your career in brand, social and content marketing.

What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with the founder to develop a content strategy and set measurable goals
  • Independently shoot and edit short-form video content (Reels, TikTok) at our kitchen, markets and pop-ups
  • Write captions, hooks, and other copy that capture the brand's voice
  • Plan and edit our weekly customer newsletter
  • Travel to our Brooklyn kitchen and market/event locations to capture content in real time
  • Help develop and maintain a consistent visual and editorial style across photo and video
  • Track what's working and suggest adjustments to the content strategy over time
What We're Looking For
  • Currently studying marketing, communications, video production, or a related field
  • Natural storyteller with strong creative instincts. You notice the moment worth capturing and have a distinct production style
  • Comfortable writing and producing short form video independently, without heavy oversight
  • Organized and self-driven, with the ability to manage your own shot lists, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Genuinely excited about food, small brands, and helping something grow
  • Sees this role as a real part of your learning experience — something you'll walk away from with a stronger portfolio and hands-on brand-building experience
  • Able to travel to locations around Brooklyn for markets and events
Compensation

This is a stipend-based internship, with pay tied to the volume and output of content produced. Specific stipend structure will be discussed during the interview process. Strong performers have the opportunity to grow into a paid, part-time role as the brand scales.

How to Apply

Send a resume, a link to your portfolio, and a short note on why Gotcha Focaccia's story is one you want to help tell to ------------
Looking forward to meeting you!
