At Boston Scientific, we'll give you the opportunity to harness all that's within you by working in teams of diverse and high-performing employees, tackling some of the most important health industry challenges. With access to the latest tools, information and training, we'll help you in advancing your skills and career. Here, you'll be supported in progressing - whatever your ambitions.
About the role:
The Content Operations & Governance Manager is responsible for building and enabling efficient, compliant, and scalable content operations across the Endoscopy organization. This role oversees and helps standardize the end-to-end content and asset lifecycle, ensuring content is effectively managed, reviewed, distributed, maintained, and retired to support marketing, commercial, educational, and customer engagement initiatives.
Working in close partnership with the Content Governance Manager and cross-functional stakeholders including Regulatory, Medical, Clinical, Compliance, Legal, Product Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Digital teams, this individual helps operationalize governance requirements while establishing consistent ways of working, driving workflow efficiency, content accessibility, and executional excellence. The role serves as a critical link between content creators, governance stakeholders, corporate and divisional platform owners, and downstream users, ensuring content moves efficiently through the organization while meeting regulatory, quality, and business requirements.
By maintaining visibility across the content ecosystem, from pre-submission planning through PSST review, content management, distribution, and archival, this role proactively identifies risks, process gaps, and compliance opportunities to strengthen audit readiness, improve operational effectiveness, and support continuous improvement. The individual will play a key role in assessing current-state processes and identifying opportunities to standardize workflows, reduce manual effort, and introduce automation and AI-enabled capabilities where appropriate.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assess current-state content workflows and establish standardized, scalable processes, roles, templates, and ways of working across the content lifecycle.
  • Own and optimize end-to-end content and asset lifecycle processes, including intake, review coordination, publishing, distribution, retention, archival, and retirement activities, with a focus on reducing manual effort and improving consistency and visibility.
  • Partner with the Content Governance Manager to support governance standards, SOPs, compliance requirements, and continuous improvement of content operations processes and policies.
  • Facilitate Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance (LRC) review workflows and support content teams throughout the review process, identifying opportunities to improve submission readiness, workflow consistency, and review cycle times.
  • Serve as a consultative partner to content creators and stakeholders, providing guidance on content processes, review readiness, content quality, and workflow best practices.
  • Lead Endoscopy business processes related to content management and Digital Asset Management (DAM), including intake, workflow routing, version control, taxonomy, metadata governance, asset organization, and content discoverability; partner with corporate platform owners on system administration, capabilities, enhancements, and business requirements. Support publishing and distribution of approved content assets across commercial, educational, and digital channels.
  • Monitor asset lifecycle activities, including expiration tracking, retention requirements, archival, and documentation management, proactively identifying compliance risks, process gaps, and audit vulnerabilities to strengthen audit readiness.
  • Establish visibility across the Endoscopy content ecosystem through content inventories, reporting, dashboards, and lifecycle controls that improve understanding of asset status, ownership, location, and required actions.
  • Develop and deliver training and enablement programs that improve stakeholder understanding, process adoption, and operational consistency.
  • Plan, organize, and manage content operations initiatives, coordinating internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives while balancing timelines, compliance requirements, and operational priorities.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for content operations data, partnering with analysts to develop reporting, metrics, and insights that drive workflow optimization, operational effectiveness, and business decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, workflow automation, AI-enabled solutions, and platform enhancements that improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience and help define a longer-term roadmap for evolving Endoscopy content operations capabilities.
  • Partner with corporate technology and platform teams to represent Endoscopy business needs, identify capability gaps, improve utilization of existing tools, and influence future platform enhancements.
  • Support additional content operations, governance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives as business needs evolve.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, English, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in content operations, marketing operations, content governance, digital asset management, or related functions within a complex or regulated environment.
  • Experience supporting Regulatory, Medical, Compliance, Legal, or Quality review processes.
  • Experience managing content workflows, operational processes, platforms, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Familiarity with content management systems, DAM platforms, workflow management tools, and project management solutions.
  • Strong analytical, project management, organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting global content governance and operations processes.
  • Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems, sales enablement platforms and digital publishing tools, metadata governance, taxonomy development, and asset lifecycle management.
  • Experience supporting audit readiness activities, compliance documentation, or regulated content processes.
  • Experience supporting omnichannel marketing or commercial content operations.
