With a loyal and engaged audience of 250,000 individuals each week, ASMG is committed to providing exceptional content and marketing solutions to local, regional, and national clients.

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Sales Manager to lead and inspire our high-performing sales team. This is a rare opportunity to work at the intersection of media, marketing, and community engagement—right here in the heart of Sonoma County Wine Country.

As Sales Manager, you will oversee advertising sales operations across ASMG’s multiple platforms, drive revenue growth, coach account executives, and collaborate closely with programming, promotions, and digital teams to deliver innovative and effective client campaigns.

General Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team revenue goals.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to grow revenue across ASMG’s suite of platforms: radio, digital, print, and live events.
  • Recruit, train, and coach new sales talent, fostering a positive, performance-driven culture.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify new sales opportunities and areas for growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and community partners.
  • Collaborate with station programming, digital, promotions, and production teams to develop compelling sales packages and marketing solutions.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and CRM data management.
  • Provide regular performance reports and sales activity updates to senior leadership.
Key Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in media, marketing, or advertising sales, including at least 2 years in sales leadership or management.
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and client relationship skills.
  • Experience with integrated media sales including radio, digital marketing, events, and/or print.
  • Solid knowledge of CRM systems, sales analytics, and performance tracking tools.
  • Strong understanding of the local business landscape and community-driven marketing.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Energetic, hands‑on leadership style with a passion for local media and community impact.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary Base: $85,000.00 – $120,000.00 DOE, plus bonus of up to 20%
