Job description

About Fundraise Up

We're Fundraise Up - a global fundraising platform built to make donating to nonprofits fast, seamless, and accessible to all. Every month, our technology powers tens of millions of dollars in donations across the globe. We focus on innovation that directly impacts results: faster load times, higher conversion rates, global payment support, and accessibility-first design.

Our platform is trusted by many of the world's leading nonprofits, including UNICEF, the Alzheimer's Association, and a wide range of global NGOs. With a 4.9/5 rating across top software review platforms, we're recognized not just for our impact - but for the quality of the product we deliver.

About The Role

We're looking for a Sr. Content Manager to be the executional engine behind Fundraise Up's content strategy.

This isn't a role for someone who produces content and hands it off. You'll own the output across formats, across channels, and across the full funnel. You'll report to the Director, Content & Community, and you'll play a key role in scaling our content delivery.

Our content strategy is video-first and conversation-driven: built around the voices of nonprofit leaders, our customers, and cross-sector experts. Your job is to turn those conversations, insights, and ideas into editorial assets that build category authority, support demand generation, and arm our sales team.

We're scaling an AI-accelerated content engine. Fluency and creative curiosity with these tools are must-haves to thrive in this role. We believe AI will never replace the art of editorial excellence, but it will accelerate it.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute against the editorial calendar with consistent, high-quality output across a wide range of formats: blog posts, long-form guides, ebooks, case studies, web copy, email nurture sequences, event descriptions, customer spotlights, and more.
  • Write for multiple audiences and buyer segments including, nonprofit fundraising leaders, development directors, digital teams, and ops professionals, adapting tone, depth, and framing for each.
  • Produce content that serves the full funnel, from awareness-stage thought leadership to late-stage sales enablement material.
  • Operate Fundraise Up's content flywheel: take a single conversation, podcast episode, webinar, event recording, or executive roundtable and transform it into multi-channel assets including blog posts, email copy, and sales one-pagers.
  • Write scripts, show notes, video descriptions, and companion editorial content for YouTube, webinars, and livestream programming.
  • Work closely with the Director and multimedia producer to ensure every video and podcast asset is fully leveraged across written and digital channels.
  • Turn customer stories, case studies, and interviews with nonprofit leaders into compelling, narrative-driven content that showcases real-world fundraising innovation and impact.
  • Support recurring content programs - webinars, interviews, in-person activation recaps - by producing the written assets that extend their reach before, during, and after each event.
  • Research and draft commentary, insights, and analysis on major developments shaping the nonprofit sector: technology shifts, donor behavior trends, policy changes, and fundraising innovation.
  • Support the production of quarterly and annual insights reports and other high-value industry content.
  • Apply hands-on SEO expertise to everything you produce - keyword research, on-page optimization, internal linking, content refresh cycles, and topic clustering.
  • Stay current on Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and how AI-generated search is reshaping content consumption; structure content to perform in featured snippets and conversational AI responses.
  • Write and optimize website copy in collaboration with design, product marketing, and demand generation; contribute to conversion-focused landing pages, product pages, and campaign assets.
  • Own Fundraise Up's social media presence end-to-end across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant platforms - developing channel-specific strategies rooted in audience behavior and business goals.
  • Build, write, and maintain a social content calendar that balances brand storytelling, educational content, product updates, and community engagement.
  • Adapt long-form editorial, video, and campaign assets into social-ready content across formats: text posts, carousels, short-form video, quote graphics, and more.
  • Own content performance reporting - tracking organic traffic, content-influenced pipeline, engagement, social analytics, and SEO lift - and translate data into a clear point of view on what to cut, refresh, or double down on.
  • We expect every team member to actively use AI in their day-to-day work, identify where AI can change the shape of problems in their function, and grow their fluency as the tools evolve. You should already be using AI meaningfully in your work and understand where it adds value and how it can improve the way you operate.
Skills and Qualifications
  • 5-8+ years of content experience in B2B SaaS; exposure to nonprofit, mission-driven, or social sector markets is a strong plus
  • A portfolio demonstrating real range: long-form editorial, web copy, sales assets, social content, video companion content
  • Exceptional writing - you can explain complex ideas simply, match voice to audience, and produce copy that earns clicks, builds trust, and keeps readers
  • Demonstrated ability to repurpose content across formats, especially taking video or conversational content and turning it into polished editorial assets
  • Understand SEO/AEO best practices
  • Fluency with AI writing and research tools used to scale and operationalize your work, not substitutes for human-touch and excellence
  • Dynamic collaborator - comfortable working across marketing, sales, product, and design without needing heavy oversight
  • High editorial output capacity; you can manage multiple projects simultaneously and still ship quality work

Compensation

  • The compensation range for this role is $125,400 - $136,400 OTE (On-Target Earnings).
  • Final compensation will be determined based upon relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and alignment with the role's requirements.
  • Location: Remote in the US (EST or CST)
Perks & Benefits
  • Health, Dental, and Vision insurance covered at 100% for employees, 80% for employee plus dependents, and 70% for employees plus family.
  • FSA and HSA Spending Account.
  • 20 days of vacation, 5 sick days, 11 company holidays plus an additional 1 floating holiday.
  • 401(k) plan with company match.
  • 100% Company-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, basic life insurance and AD&D.
  • Paid parental leave (12 weeks for primary caregivers / 6 weeks for secondary caregivers).
  • Generous home office stipend to support your remote workspace.
  • Annual professional development stipend to support your growth (e.g., workshops, courses, and seminars).
  • Charitable giving program and paid volunteer time off with registered non-profits.
