Your Impact

As Vice President, Product Management, Digital Experience, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and business performance of a comprehensive portfolio of client engagement and experience solutions. You will lead a global product organization responsible for delivering integrated, intelligent, and scalable digital experiences that help clients create meaningful interactions across channels and throughout the client lifecycle.
You will combine strategic vision, operational excellence, and market leadership to ensure OpenText continues to strengthen its position as a leader in enterprise Digital Experience Platforms (DXP).

What the Role Offers

Portfolio Responsibility

You will define and drive strategy across a broad and evolving portfolio, including:

  • Customer Communications Management (CCM)
  • Digital Asset Management (DAM / Core DAM)
  • Content Management Systems (CMS) for web and mobile experiences
  • Customer Data Platforms (CDP), analytics, and journey orchestration
  • Messaging channels, including SMS, Email, WhatsApp, and RCS
  • Digital Fax solutions and OpenText Fax offerings
  • Experience Cloud platform services and integrations
  • AI-powered personalization, automation, and intelligence capabilities across the platform

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a multi-year product vision aligned with OpenText Cloud strategy.
  • Drive portfolio convergence toward a unified OpenText Experience Cloud platform.
  • Identify market opportunities, strategic partnerships, and expansion areas across AI, personalization, and omnichannel engagement.
  • Establish long-term investment priorities that accelerate growth and client value.

Portfolio Management

  • Lead a complex, global, multi-product portfolio spanning multiple business units.
  • Balance innovation, modernization, client .requirements, and profitability.
  • Ensure seamless integration across product lines to deliver an end-to-end client experience.
  • Optimize portfolio performance through disciplined product management practices.

Client and Market Leadership

  • Engage directly with enterprise clients, CIOs, CMOs, and digital transformation leaders.
  • Translate emerging industry trends, competitive dynamics, and client needs into differentiated product strategies.
  • Serve as a recognized thought leader for OpenText in Digital Experience and engagement technologies.
  • Represent OpenText at client events, analyst briefings, and industry conferences.

Execution Excellence

  • Lead the full product lifecycle from strategy and ideation through delivery, adoption, and growth.
  • Partner closely with Development, User Experience, Cloud Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Client Success teams.
  • Drive data-informed decision making and establish robust investment and prioritization frameworks.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Business Ownership

  • Own portfolio performance, including revenue growth, margins, client adoption, and market share.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing on go-to-market strategy, pricing, packaging, and field enablement.
  • Support pipeline development and strategic client engagements.
  • Drive measurable business outcomes while ensuring client success.

What you Need to Succeed

Leadership Experience

  • 15+ years of product management leadership experience, including significant experience leading leaders and global teams.
  • Proven success in a Vice President or equivalent executive-level role within enterprise software.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-product portfolios and driving organizational transformation.

Domain Expertise

Deep expertise in several of the following areas:

  • Digital Experience Platforms (DXP)
  • Customer communications or engagement platforms
  • Digital Asset Management (DAM) or Content Management (CMS)
  • Customer Data Platforms (CDP)/Customer journey orchestration
  • Messaging, CPaaS solution or Omnichannel
  • Digital fax platforms and channels

Strategic and Technical Acumen

  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, SaaS business models, APIs, and platform ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning applications for personalization, automation, and client engagement.
  • Experience leading platform consolidation, modernization, and integration strategies.

Business Acumen

  • Proven ownership of significant product revenue streams, portfolio P&L, or business units.
  • Strong ability to align product strategy with revenue and market outcomes.
  • Track record of scaling enterprise software products in global and highly regulated markets.

Influence and Execution

  • Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
