Position Summary

The Solution Architect (Imaging) supports the design, implementation, integration, and ongoing improvement of enterprise content management (ECM) solutions within the Imaging & Content Platforms team. This role partners with senior architects, engineering teams, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable content management capabilities that support enterprise business processes.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with practical problem-solving abilities and experience working across application, integration, cloud, and platform technologies. This individual will contribute to architecture design, platform modernization, system integrations, operational support, and continuous improvement initiatives while helping ensure alignment with enterprise standards and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and support of ECM capabilities, including content storage, retrieval, metadata management, document lifecycle management, and integrations.
  • Assist in developing architecture solutions across application, data, integration, cloud, and technology domains while aligning with enterprise standards and best practices.
  • Support high-volume document ingestion and processing capabilities using API-based, event-driven, batch, and workflow-enabled approaches.
  • Design and implement integrations between ECM platforms and enterprise applications such as SAP, PeopleSoft, Salesforce, JDE, Workday, and related systems.
  • Participate in DevOps and automation initiatives including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, monitoring, release support, and operational readiness activities.
  • Collaborate with security, compliance, records management, and architecture teams to ensure solutions meet security and governance requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve platform, integration, and production support issues while identifying opportunities for optimization and improved reliability.
  • Support implementation of OCR, intelligent document processing, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities where appropriate.
  • Create and maintain architecture documentation, solution diagrams, technical standards, and implementation guidance.
  • Communicate technical concepts and solution recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Contribute to platform modernization efforts and participate in knowledge sharing across the team.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience
Critical Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in IT architecture, software engineering, platform engineering, enterprise applications, or related technology roles.
  • 2+ years of experience designing or supporting solution architecture, platform architecture, or enterprise technology solutions.
  • Experience working with enterprise content management, document management, workflow, imaging, or content-driven platforms.
  • Understanding of cloud technologies, APIs, integrations, distributed systems, automation, and operational support practices.
  • Experience delivering technology solutions in cross-functional enterprise environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on moderately complex initiatives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Nuxeo or similar enterprise content management platforms.
  • Experience supporting document lifecycle management, metadata management, retention, indexing, and search capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Azure, GCP, or other cloud platforms.
  • Experience integrating enterprise platforms with ERP and business systems such as SAP, PeopleSoft, Salesforce, JDE, or Workday.
  • Exposure to OCR, intelligent document processing, classification, extraction, or workflow automation technologies.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled document processing or content automation solutions.
  • Experience working in Agile or SAFe delivery environments.
  • Healthcare, supply chain, pharmaceutical distribution, finance, or shared services experience.
