    Job Summary: Job Summary:

  • The Medical Assisting Teacher is responsible for delivering up-to-date instruction on healthcare industry standards, medical curriculum content, and clinical regulations, while demonstrating exceptional classroom management to keep a busy clinical lab safe and focused. The instructor effectively plans classroom instruction, hands-on laboratory work, and professional assessments of student learning while monitoring students' understanding of the curriculum. The teacher establishes and encourages a positive, safe, and professional student learning environment that simulates a real-world clinical setting.
  • As a dedicated team player, the instructor is highly reflective, eager to continuously learn, and comfortable collaborating with and seeking support from colleagues. The instructor maintains excellent communication with students, families, and community healthcare partners. Using appropriate instructional and clinical techniques, the teacher continually evaluates, experiments, and refines instructional strategies while strictly managing safety and compliance within the medical lab environment. Additionally, the teacher fulfills professional responsibilities, including coordinating student clinical externships, collaborating closely with the school-wide CTE team, working with a program advisory committee, and sharing responsibility for the accomplishment of school, center, and system-level goals and policies.
    Qualifications:Certification & Experience:
    • Must hold a valid New Hampshire Career and Technical Education (CTE) Educator Certification in Health Science / Medical Assisting, OR
    • Be eligible for a NH site-based licensing plan (Statement of Eligibility) by demonstrating at least 5 years of full-time, hands-on work experience in the healthcare field.


  • Clinical Credentials: Active clinical credential in healthcare (such as an RN, LPN, CMA, or RMA) is required.
