The Director, Content Marketing, defines and leads content strategy to drive brand awareness, demand generation, and customer lifecycle engagement. This role aligns content initiatives with revenue objectives, establishes scalable content frameworks, and owns the end-to-end of the content lifecycle to deliver measurable business impact.

What you'll do: 

Strategic Leadership and Vision

  • Define and own a content marketing strategy aligned with organizational and revenue objectives
  • Establish a long-term content roadmap supporting brand awareness, demand generation, and customer lifecycle engagement
  • Identify market opportunities, audience segments, and messaging strategies to drive competitive differentiation
  • Ensure alignment of content strategy with executive priorities and business growth initiatives

Content Strategy and Execution Oversight

  • Oversee development and execution of multi-channel, multi-format content strategies across all marketing programs
  • Ensure consistency of brand voice, messaging, and positioning across all content and communication channels
  • Lead development of high-impact content, including thought leadership, research, and campaign-driven assets
  • Ensure content initiatives support full-funnel marketing and pipeline generation efforts
  • Own and operationalize the content calendar, ensuring alignment with campaign priorities, product launches, and revenue goals

Performance and Analytics

  • Own content performance strategy and KPI frameworks aligned to revenue, pipeline, and engagement metrics
  • Oversee measurement, reporting, and optimization of content performance across channels
  • Ensure integration of analytics, attribution, and insights into content strategy decision-making
  • Drive continuous optimization through testing, performance analysis, and data-driven adjustments

Cross-Functional Alignment and Communications

  • Partner with Demand Generation, Sales, and Product Marketing to align content strategy with pipeline and revenue goals
  • Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership on messaging and strategic initiatives, including CEO's Linkedin profile
  • Oversee external communications strategy, including PR, brand positioning, and client-facing messaging

Who you are: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in content marketing within a B2B or a similar environment
  • Strong expertise in performance marketing, demand generation, and content-driven pipeline growth
  • Proven experience aligning content strategy with revenue and business objectives
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, especially Linkedin and content optimization strategies
  • Strong experience with AI to improve productivity 
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate data into a strategic direction
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated strengths in strategic thinking, leadership, decision making, and results orientation
  • Fluent in pharma marketing, HCP audiences, life sciences or healthcare media preferred
