Job description

On-Site, Elgin, IL USA – Marketing – Full-Time

At Newhaven Display, we’re more than a global display manufacturer—we’re a hub of innovation, creativity, and collaboration. Our products power many of the electronics you use every day, from home appliances and medical devices to industrial equipment and automotive tech. We specialize in LCD, OLED, and TFT displays, serving clients across a wide range of industries.

Our mission? Deliver high-quality display solutions and design services that help our customers grow—while continuously pushing the limits of what’s possible.

About the Role

Newhaven Display is seeking a highly creative, detail-oriented Content Specialist to join our Marketing team. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys photography, videography, video editing, motion graphics, and digital storytelling.

This role is ideal for a hands‑on creator who is equally comfortable behind the camera, in the editing suite, and at the concepting table. You will lead the development of engaging photo, video, and motion‑graphics‑based content that supports our marketing, branding, and business objectives. Working closely with marketing, product, and leadership teams, you’ll play a key role in shaping how our story is told across digital, social, and traditional channels.

What You’ll Do Website & Product Content
  • Capture, produce, and edit high-quality photography and video to enhance the user experience across product pages, landing pages, and other digital content.
  • Produce professional product demonstrations and optimize images, videos, and motion graphics for web performance and brand consistency.
  • Maintain organized digital asset libraries and assist with uploading, tagging, and managing multimedia content across digital platforms.
Marketing & Video Production
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and produce visual assets for marketing campaigns, product launches, Google Ads, and social media.
  • Plan, storyboard, coordinate, and produce video content, including product demonstrations, tutorials, and brand storytelling.
  • Edit video content through post‑production, including color correction, sound design, motion graphics, animation, and final distribution across YouTube, Vimeo, and social media channels.
  • Create engaging photo, video, graphic, and motion content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, TikTok, and other social platforms while managing content calendars, posting schedules, community engagement, and performance optimization.
Cross‑Departmental Content Support
  • Create photo and video assets for internal communications, employee training, presentations, and company initiatives.
  • Partner with Human Resources, Sales, Engineering, and Leadership to support multimedia projects and communication needs.
  • Photograph and film company events, producing recap videos, highlight reels, and promotional content.
  • Assist in planning and executing visual coverage for major company initiatives and special events.
  • Continuously improve creative workflows, production processes, and content development practices.
  • Research and recommend new equipment, software, tools, and production techniques.
  • Coordinate with external vendors on specialized photography, videography, and production projects.
  • Maintain photography, video, lighting, and production equipment.
  • Participate in creative brainstorming sessions, project reviews, and team collaboration.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia, Film, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of professional experience in content creation, multimedia production, or digital marketing.
  • Proficiency in industry‑standard content creation and editing software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator), Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of photography, videography, lighting, composition, audio recording, and post‑production workflows.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high production and brand standards.
  • Extensive experience researching, planning, and creating content for websites, social media, and digital advertising.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) and content best practices.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and multi‑tasking skills in a deadline‑driven environment.
What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is:

  • Creative with a strong eye for visual storytelling.
  • Highly organized and detail‑oriented.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating across departments.
  • A strong communicator who can translate technical concepts into engaging visual content.
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and eager to continuously improve.
  • Passionate about producing high‑quality work that supports business objectives.
Why Join Newhaven Display?

At Newhaven Display, you’ll be part of a collaborative team where your ideas are valued and your work has a direct impact on the company’s success. We offer a stable, supportive work environment with opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to exciting projects across multiple industries.

If you’re passionate about creating compelling content and want to help tell the story of an innovative technology company, we’d love to hear from you.
