Hightower’s capital solutions, operational support services, size and scale empower its vibrant community of independent-minded wealth advisors to grow their businesses and help their clients achieve their financial vision. Based in Chicago with advisors across the U.S., we operate as a registered investment advisor (RIA).

Your Future Team

This role is ideal for a marketing professional who enjoys turning complex financial topics into engaging, multi-channel content. Working closely with the Lead Copywriter, Digital Marketing, Performance Marketing, PR, and business stakeholders, you'll help shape Hightower's editorial strategy and deliver content that drives awareness, engagement, and business growth.

What You’ll Do
As Hightower continues building a modern, full-funnel marketing organization, we're looking for a Content Manager to lead editorial planning, content production, and content distribution across digital channels.

This role is responsible for managing Hightower's content strategy and editorial calendar while partnering with internal teams to create high-quality content that supports brand awareness, advisor recruiting, client acquisition, and long-term growth.

Content Strategy & Editorial Planning

  • Partner with the Lead Copywriter to develop and execute Hightower's editorial calendar and content strategy.
  • Identify content opportunities that support business priorities, campaigns, SEO, and target audiences.
  • Work with subject matter experts to develop thought leadership and educational content across key business areas.
  • Ensure messaging is aligned across web, email, social media, video, PR, and events.

Content Development & Production

  • Partner with the Lead Copywriter to develop thought leadership, campaign content, executive communications, website copy, and other strategic marketing assets.
  • Manage content production by coordinating with the Lead Copywriter, designers, video producers, agencies, and subject matter experts.
  • Oversee the development and distribution of multimedia content, including videos, webinars, podcasts, presentations, and social media assets.
  • Ensure content maintains a consistent brand voice and meets compliance standards.
  • Repurpose long-form content into channel-specific assets that maximize reach and engagement.

Content Distribution & Optimization

  • Partner with SEO, Digital Marketing, Performance Marketing, and PR teams to maximize the reach and impact of content.
  • Support integrated marketing campaigns by developing and coordinating content across channels.
  • Monitor content performance and recommend optimizations based on engagement, SEO, LLM, and conversion metrics.
  • Stay current on content marketing trends, AI tools, SEO/LLM best practices, and wealth management topics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with the Lead Copywriter to ensure consistent messaging, quality, and brand voice across all content.
  • Collaborate with marketing and business leaders to align content with strategic priorities and campaign objectives.
  • Help establish scalable content planning, review, and production workflows that improve efficiency across the marketing organization.
  • Identify opportunities to improve content processes, tools, and workflows.
  • Work with Vendor Management to identify and assess external content partners that expand Hightower's content offerings and address strategic content needs.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5-8+ years of experience in content marketing, content strategy, editorial, communications, or digital marketing.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with experience developing content across multiple channels.
  • Experience managing editorial calendars and coordinating complex content projects.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and digital content best practices.
  • Experience working with designers, video producers, agencies, and cross-functional marketing teams.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with content management systems, marketing automation platforms, analytics tools, and AI-enabled content creation tools is preferred.
  • Experience in financial services, wealth management, professional services, or another regulated industry is preferred.

What We Offer

  • Coverage on the first day of employment for medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid parental leave (16 weeks for primary caregiver and 8 weeks for secondary caregiver)
