Content Creators often tailor their material to suit the target audience and platform, using creativity and strategy to achieve marketing or communication goals. Job description

Your Work Matters

The Program Manager, Paid Influencer, Affiliate, and Brand Partnerships is responsible for owning and scaling the paid influencer program, with social commerce and creator-led affiliate marketing at its core. Serving as the paid counterpart to the organic Social Media Manager, this position partners closely with organic social while owning a distinct mandate to turn creators into a measurable, full-funnel growth channel. This role is responsible for sourcing and negotiating partnerships, amplifying high-performing content through paid media, building commission-based affiliate programs, and establishing shoppable and social commerce experiences that drive company revenue.

You'll Be Successful With

  • 5-7 years minimum experience in influencer or creator marketing, social commerce, or affiliate marketing, with a demonstrated track record of building or scaling at least one of these into a measurable revenue channel.
  • Demonstrated experience building and growing an influencer- or creator-led affiliate program, ideally one tied to measurable revenue or commerce outcomes.
  • Strong platform fluency across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest, including paid amplification and shoppable or social commerce formats.
  • Hands-on experience with influencer or affiliate management platforms and the operational workflows that run them.
  • Proven negotiation and partnership management skills, including creator agreements, rates, and usage rights.
  • Experience directing or managing external agency partners or vendors.
  • Analytical orientation with comfort owning performance metrics such as ROAS, CPA, and contribution to revenue.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder skills in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Retail, eCommerce, or DTC experience, especially programs serving both consumer and professional or trade audiences.
  • Exposure to paid social or paid amplification formats (whitelisting, boosting, partnership ads).
  • Home improvement, home, or hardlines category experience.
  • Experience with social commerce platforms such as TikTok Shop and live shopping.
  • Familiarity with in-culture and multicultural creator strategy, including Spanish-language audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Your Day Consists Of

Scaling the Paid Influencer and Creator Program (primary focus)

  • Owning strategy, roadmap, and execution for the paid influencer program across always-on and campaign moments, building it into a scalable, repeatable channel.
  • Sourcing, vetting, negotiating, and managing creator partnerships across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging platforms, spanning macro, mid-tier, micro, and PRO and trade creators.
  • Building and running paid amplification of creator content, including whitelisting, partnership ads, and boosting, in coordination with the media agency.
  • Maintaining a creator pipeline and tiering framework that balances reach, relevance, performance, and brand fit for both homeowner and PRO audiences.

Building and Growing Creator-led Affiliate and Social Commerce

  • Standing up and scaling commission-based, creator-led affiliate programs, owning platform selection, structure, payouts, and optimization.
  • Driving social commerce, including shoppable content, live shopping, and in-platform storefronts, to convert creator audiences into measurable revenue.
  • Managing affiliate and influencer platforms (for example, Impact, CreatorIQ, Rakuten, LTK, Levanta, or similar) and the operational workflows that run them.
  • Defining and reporting on performance against revenue, ROAS, CPA, and contribution targets, and reallocating spend toward what works.

Owning Paid Social Partnership Content

  • Planning and managing paid social specifically tied to creator, influencer, and partnership content, working alongside the broader paid media plan rather than duplicating it.
  • Partnering with the Organic Social Media Manager to align creator activity, content calendars, and audience strategy across paid and organic.

Developing Content and Brand Partnerships

  • Identifying and negotiating content and co-branded partnerships that extend reach and credibility with target audiences.
  • Partnering with Brand and Creative teams to ensure all creator, partnership, and social commerce content meets brand standards for look, feel, and messaging.
  • Building briefs, usage rights, and content guidelines that protect the brand while giving creators room to perform.

Managing the Agency and Operations

  • Serving as the day-to-day lead and primary accountability owner for the influencer, affiliate, content, and social teams at our media agency of record, including briefing, QA, pacing, and performance reviews.
  • Owning contracts, scopes, deliverables, and creator agreements, partnering with Legal and Procurement as needed.
  • Ensuring FTC disclosure compliance and brand-safe practices across all creator and partnership activity.
  • Managing budgets across influencer, affiliate, and paid social partnership programs, with clear tracking and forecasting.

Building Cross-functional Partnerships

  • Partnering with the Organic Social Media Manager to align creator strategy and content while maintaining distinct paid versus organic ownership.
  • Collaborating with Brand and Creative to uphold look, feel, and messaging standards for all creator and partnership content.
  • Working with Media and Analytics to integrate creator programs into the broader media plan and measurement framework.
  • Partnering with Legal and Procurement on contracts, usage rights, and compliance.
